Adrastos, God King
My idea for a League of Legends champion. Adrastos, a diety in his human form or a demi god.
Ranged DPS
Yields high DPS, but is incredibly fragile. Not a great Carry option, as his ultimate is not great for ganking. Best Laning with a durable tank. Late game bloomer.
Passive: Fury of the Divine: Nearby enemy champions their armor reduced by (scales with level)
Q: Flaming Arrows: Arrows deal additional damage and does damage over time at the cost of mana pershot.
W: Chasing Suns: passive, movement speed increased, attk speed slightly increased.
Active, radiates an aura that shares the movement speed of nearby allies and slightly increases your own . Drainging mana every second.
E: Zeus' Aid: Lightning consumes self, dealing damage to all enemies in a radius, stunning nearby champions for some time.
R: Strum the Lyre: Champions become bewitched by the strums of your Lyre, forcing them to attack a different Champion of your choosing for some seconds.
Great for Team fights, great laning partner. Great role player. Very powerful, but mildly gear dependent.
Stack AD and atk speed for solid consistent damage.
Stack AP to increase the power to the flaming arrows and Zeus's aid goes from an escape mechanic to a feared stunning nuke.
A work in progress. Please give me feedback.

Good times
Some things never feel quite the same. More like a shadow or an homage to what used to be. In this case it's old memories of hanging at the park all summer. Going to 7-11 for a slurpee and then heading to the park to watch Sean and Blake race up the spider. I think everything goes through that. Makes that shift from a beloved ritual to a memory.
" hey remember when we used to..."
Naps with Laura
Playing pool at Brunswick
Midnight showings with the whole gang
Playing at the park.
Just getting a little reminiscent.
It had a great night as usual with awesome people. And at the crack of dawn, that's all that really matters when it comes down to it.

EVENT HORIZON
HOLY FUCK THIS MOVIE.
So I dunno if you've seen Event Horizon, but a gateway to hell is opened because people fuck with physics. Sounds like the Large Hadron Collider.
So i sent this email.
Good Day Mr. Gillies,
While I appreciate the great strides CERN has made in physics and science. I have just finished watching the movie "Event Horizon". In this movie the character played by Sam Neil, messes with physics and ends up opening a gateway to hell. This besmerchment of the laws of physics, space and time, opened up the GATEWAY TO HELL. I am mildly concerned that this will happen with the Large Hadron Collider. I am hoping some tests have been run to make sure that it will not open a hole to a negative dimension or HELL. I hope that you look in to this as fast as humanly possible.
Good Day,
Matt Rodriguez
May god help us all you CERN bastards.

Potty Ponderings
So as Laura lies asleep in our bed, I have sought refuge in the bathroom as I do not want my typing to wake her.
Ya know what, I can always count on Janet Wallace's Blog Slice Of Pink to make me marvel at an interesting life, yet bum me out that I don't have the ambition, energy, gusto, balls, courage, spontaneity, testicular fortitude or creativity to lead as much of an interesting life. Hell, I don't even come close to it! And she has waaaayyyy more going on in life and wayyyy more excuses to be dull.
It's the latest trend (latest is very subjective) but I think I'm going to attempt to jump on the bandwagon. I would love to do a 22 before 22. But I only have about three months left.... Hrmmm... so maybe a 7 before 22? And then if that goes well, a 23 Before 23. but where to start? I'd like to start small, but can't really think of little goals I'd like to have. I'd like something large and profound, but don't want to set up anything unrealistic. Hmmmm.... well guise, I need help. Any suggestions for stuff I should do would, or even stuff you would like to do with a friend along for the ride, would be appreciated. So goal is to start by August 29th my soon to be, hopefully, 7...before 22 (Because I only have about three months left)?

Summer of Sushi
So after only two whopping days, I have failed BLOGust, just as I had BEDApril. O well, such is life. I'm hoping that a blog right now will semi make up for the one I missed.
A week ago I went out for sushi with the delightful couple of Sean and Katie. I really enjoyed the company and enjoyed the fair Big Tuna had to offer almost as much. Looking at the sushi chef, I did what I always do when I see someone cooking something tasty. "I could do that. And I bet I could do it better." Nasty habit, makes eating at restaurants difficult at times because I have such a pompous view of my extremely limited skills and complete lack of versatility. I eat at a mexican restaurant with Laura only to tell her I'm mad I hadn't made it all myself. Which leads me to my adventure today.

Today I made sushi for the first time. It was pretty exciting, no Big Tuna. But overall wasn't half bad, though I'm pretty sure I don't like California rolls now because imitation krab is funky as hell. It was good fun and I learned how to make some bombass sticky rice. But it also cost me about 20 bucks for all of the ingredients. Not the cheapest meal. But I have plenty of rice reagents and Nori left over which should make for some fun improvisations. But it also dawned on me that it's a pain in the ass to make sushi, and that I could not in fact, "Do that" and I failed miserably at the "Do it better". But of course for now I'll blame it on the fact that I was missing certain staples such as fresh crab, a wooden bowl for rice, a rice cooker and bamboo mats for rolling. So I guess the next step is to buy some of that junk and try it again.
So if any of my limited followers are interested. Let me know if you are down for a sushi night in the near future.

It's the latest thing
So The Admiral tells me Blogust is upon us. I completely failed at BEDA so I will be attempting to keep it up this time around. So with any luck, every day this month you will get to read my pointless thoughts. Should be fun!
